Installation Instructions

macOS

Download the .dmg file by clicking the download button above
Open the downloaded proxifi-macos.dmg file
Drag the Proxifi app to your Applications folder
Open Proxifi from your Applications folder or Launchpad
If prompted, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway"
Sign in with your Proxifi account to start earning

Note: On first launch, macOS may show a security warning. This is normal for apps downloaded outside the App Store.

Windows

Download the .exe installer by clicking the download button above
Run the downloaded proxifi-windows.exe file
If Windows SmartScreen appears, click "More info" then "Run anyway"
Follow the installation wizard steps
When prompted by Windows Firewall, click "Allow access" for both private and public networks
Launch Proxifi from the Start Menu or Desktop shortcut
Sign in with your Proxifi account to start earning

Note: Make sure to allow Proxifi through your firewall for optimal bandwidth sharing.

Linux (CLI)

Install and run Proxifi using the command line:

1. Download and install:

curl -fsSL https://downloads.proxifi.app/install.sh | bash

2. Start the service:

proxifi start

3. Authenticate with your account:

proxifi login

Common commands:

proxifi status    # Check connection status
proxifi stop      # Stop sharing bandwidth
proxifi logs      # View logs
proxifi --help    # Show all commands

Linux (Docker)

Run Proxifi in a Docker container for easy deployment and isolation:

1. Pull the Docker image:

docker pull proxifi/proxifi:latest

2. Run the container:

docker run -d \
  --name proxifi \
  --restart unless-stopped \
  -e PROXIFI_API_KEY=your_api_key \
  proxifi/proxifi:latest
